  • Living Grace Home is a residential facility in the greater Las Vegas valley serving unwed pregnant teenagers between the ages of 14-22. They provide housing, education, and social services to minor, pregnant women.

 

Southern Nevada Children First

  • Offers various programs that all include intensive case management to help stabilize them, connect them to mainstream benefits, re-engage them in the education system, while training them to enter the workforce. The programs include the following:

    • Transitional Housing: Youth ages 16-24 who are pregnant or parenting

    • Permeant Housing: Chronically homeless youth with medical or mental health disabilities

    • Maternity Group Home: Pregnant 16-21 year olds

    • Rapid Re-Housing: Provides financial assistance and services to prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless and help those who are experiencing homelessness to be quickly re-housed and stabilized

  • The Youth Center is a residential facility for youth ages 16-24. The maximum number of youth the Center can house is 65. The Center consists of a residential building, multipurpose facility and outdoor recreational area. The youth live in dorm-style rooms and learn the basic life skills necessary to reach independence.

 

Stepping Stones Emergency Shelter (WestCare)

  • Provides an immediate safe haven for runaway/homeless boys and girls ages 10–17 who are in need of crisis intervention or emergency placement. The program provides early intervention screenings with special attention to medical, psychological and legal needs. The Youth Shelter has an attached Adolescent Detoxification program where youth ages 10–17 can receive supervised detoxification services.

Las Vegas Rescue Mission

  • The Mission has a 172 emergency shelter beds, available to men, women, and children on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests may stay seven nights, possibly longer, depending on their circumstances. Dinner, breakfast, a shower and clean linens are provided daily.

 

Salvation Army Emergency Lodge

  • Provides resources and basic needs to about 350 individuals each day. Offers safe shelter over night and showers, phone access, and hygiene products.

  • Call the number to see which location is closest to you, there are five locations. They offer four different shelter programs including New Beginnings, Help Them Home, CABHI, and Healthy Living.

Shade Tree

  • The shelter is open to all homeless women who need a safe place to stay, day or night (30-90 days stay).  It offers assistance with all basic life needs such as meals, clothing, beds, showers, hygiene supplies and referrals. After her first 30 days, a woman may be offered an extension to stay in the program or she is moved to our long-term Transitional Shelter program. 164 beds are available in this program, of which 84 are for families and 80 are for single women.

 

Men:

Catholic Charities Men’s Shelter

  • The day shelter is open from 8AM to 4PM and provides 250 men with showers, toiletries, and restrooms. The night shelter is open from 5PM to 8AM and provides 500 men with a safe and clean shelter for the night, shower, restrooms, and toiletries.

Family Promise

  • Family Promise organizes houses of worship, nonprofits and social service agencies into community-based Interfaith Hospitality Network’s that provide comprehensive services for homeless families.  Volunteers are the heart of each network. Volunteers coupled with the use of existing community resources, means that we are able to provide emergency shelter, meals and other assistance to homeless families.

Safe Nest

  • Provides more than 70 beds in a safe and confidential location to victims of domestic violence. Call the phone number for an interview and then meet with a counselor to be transported to the shelter. Basic necessities are provided and the average stay is 60 days.

 

Safe House

  • Emergency shelter for those seeking refuge from interpersonal violence/ domestic violence. Offers shelter in a confidential location with a bilingual staff. Stay includes clothing, hygiene products, food, laundry, counseling, and advocacy.

 

Veterans:

Veterans Village

  • This is a unique and innovative approach to holistic and comprehensive housing with 24/7/365 crisis intervention center intensive support services. Public and private collaborative partnerships have been created to provide supplies and services to residents including housing, medical and mental health services, employment training, referrals and placements, food pantry/nutrition programs and transportation to the VA Hospital and primary care clinics.

Employment services are provided through a workforce program that helps over 110 veterans return to employment each year.
